Samantha is the producer/operating manager who handles all kinds of game-dev outsourcing and technical connections with SDK on different release platforms (iOS/Android). She has been working for 3 years at EA’s PopCap Shanghai. Previously, she worked in a variety of roles, from game designer to PM. She has shipped several game products in Console/PC Online/Web at PopCap Shanghai, Ubisoft Shanghai, Shanda, and Real Networks Beijing.
Sophie Brugmann is a Production Manager at Build A Rocket Boy. She acts as central point of contact for the development teams and is mainly focused on coordination and scheduling on the technical side across the studios in Budapest and Edinburgh. Before joining the company, Sophie worked as a Game Evaluation Specialist at a publisher in Germany. She then became part of a fast-growing mobile games start-up, where she was leading the administrative/operational side of the business.
Jane Jensen joined Sierra On-line as a writer/designer in 1991, leaving behind a career as a software engineer. She designed classic adventure games at Sierra including King’s Quest VI (with Roberta Williams) and the Gabriel Knight series. In the early 2000’s, she co-founded Oberon Media and designed puzzle and hidden object games while there, including a James Patterson series of hidden object games and “Dying for Daylight”. After a successful Kickstarter in 2012, Jensen began a studio called Pinkerton Road and published Moebius: Empire Rising and a 20th anniversary edition of Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers. She’s the author of over 20 novels, writing mystery/thrilllers under Jane Jensen and romance under Eli Easton.
